What are the amenities included in a rental package?
Each trailer rental package includes 2 bartenders, elegant plasticware, a water station, and non-alcoholic beverages & mixers. We believe in no hidden charges!
Do you recommend any planners or caterers?
Megan is an event planner with 20+ years of experience — reach out to Megan at perfectlyplannedvt.com for more information! We also have a list of caterers and other vendors we work closely with.
Why can't we provide our own alcohol?
Per Vermont & New York liquor laws, all alcohol must be provided by the bar vendor with Vermont or New York licenses. In both states, all public events must have a vendor with a valid liquor license & permit for each event. The definition of a household is: any persons invited from outside the household is considered a public event, or at an event venue.
What if my favorite beer, wine, or liquor isn't listed in the bar packages?
We're often able to customize the bar package options to include your favorite brands! Speak to your contact regarding your needs and we can look into available options. Bar package selections are based on availability.
What is your service range?
We will travel up to 120 miles, or about a 2-hour drive, from our home base in Wilmington. We currently operate in Vermont & New York. A travel fee of $4 per mile round trip (40 miles included) is added to estimates. Events further away mean more time on the road for our associates, and safety is our top priority.
Is there a bar minimum, and what does it mean?
Yes — our packages require a bar minimum of $2,500 from 5/24 to 9/1, and $3,500 from 9/1–10/31. Most events exceed this minimum! (The bar minimum excludes rental fee, gratuity & applicable sales tax.)
What are the added taxes/fees?
We have three added-on taxes/fees for all events. First is state tax — tax in Vermont on alcohol is 10%. We also charge an 18% gratuity, which goes to the event staff. There's also a 3% service charge, which goes to our prep & unpacking crews.
